Heavy Rubber
   
Heavy Rubber belting is available to suit clients requirements, in classes 200, 250, 315, 400, 500, 630, 800, 1000 in various ply ratings, and other classes are available ex-factory if required. All of the above are available in standard widths ranging from 350mm, 450mm, 600mm, 750mm, 900mm, 1050mm, 1200mm, 1350mm, 1500mm, 1800mm and 2100mm. However in between widths are cut down from the next higher standard width. Top covers range from 1.6mm, 3.2mm, 5mm, 6.3mm, 8mm and 10mm. And bottom covers from 1.6mm, 3.2mm, 4mm.   

Moulded Chevron belting is available in fixed widths with a moulded pattern on the top surface for incline conveying.  

Belts are manufactured to conform to the following standards;
     
  • S.A.B.S. 1173 (South Africa)
  • ISO 9002 (International Standards)
  • R.M.A. (Rubber Manufacturers of America)
  • J.I.S.K. (Japanese) D.I.N. (German)
  • B.S. (British Standards)
  • A.S. (Australian)
  • M.S.H.A. (Mine Safety and Health - Fire Retardant)
In addition to these standard covers, thicker covers may be ordered ex Factory. The normal off the shelf cover grades are grade “ N “.  

Alternative covers available ex Factory are :-
  • Grade “ M “ Abrasion resistant covers
  • Nitrile, Neoprene, Flame Retardant, Fire Resistant covers are available ex Factory on request.
  • Heat Resistant with temperatures up to 120º, 150º, 180º, 200º, and higher for special applications.
